So much to do in so little time!

Mostly this post is just going to consist of pictures of the boardroom and other shots of the whole delegation in attendance. The Galaxy S II takes some pretty sweet panoramic pics 🙂

Welcome to Convention!! My weekend all access pass:

From Ritual to Reality. A very inspiring session for all members of three Greek community.

Taus in their whites. We love ritual!

Don’t forget to buy some yellow rose appliques to give to sisters and friends while here in Indy, all the proceeds will go directly to the new Annual Fund we learned about this afternoon, you get a neat ribbon for your name tag, and they’re just plain fun!

Check out Louisiana rolling in by the dozen in uniform!

Have a fanTAUStic rest of the weekend! I leave you now with some rommie lovin’ 🙂

The Educational Consultants arrived at the Hyatt today and are all moved in for the rest of this weekend! Such a beautiful place too, I can’t wait for everyone to get to see our lovely Convention location!

Below are some pictures, mostly of our view and the hotel as well as some things right outside that we EC’s had fun with 🙂

After a 3 hour drive with no air conditioning in the 94° weather I’m back at the one and only Drury for the evening. Tomorrow we’re off to downtown Indianapolis for Convention preparation!

Pretty much nothing has changed, currently working the treadmill after a walk down the bad, yet endearing smelling stairwell and the front desk guy greeted me with a “back so soon?”

…even though it’s been 4 months. Should I be flattered or offended? Can’t decide.

Rooming with some of the new EC’s from Psi Chapter at James Madison, they’re cool and super excited to start their new jobs, very exciting for them!

I can’t wait to get to see all the sisters I’ve met along the way and meet even more this weekend at the big event!

We meet again Drury 🙂

Sooo I’m a little bit behind here! However this was my last stop, so not terrrribly far behind. 🙂

This time I was in New York!

image

Got in my VW Jetta and cruised to Potsdam!

image

image

I just loved the scenery, upstate New York is so beautiful!

image

image

The campus was also quite a looker itself

image

image

image

image

image

The student center had some near felt banners for all the student orgs. Note- my sweet panoramic camera action caught the girl in the pink hoodie on get journey a few times.. Oops?

image

image

I’m not really sure what these signs were about in the union though.. I can’t tell if I’m offended or subconsciously inspired?

image

Some of the sights of the city on my journey:

image

image

The Bagelry, stopped there for breakfast on my morning out of town, yummy!

image

Little Italy, where I had my first and only slice of New York pizza. It was good, but I have to say, I’m a Chicago gal through and through!

image

image

On my last day in New York I said goodbye to my last chapter visit, a great bunch of women for sure!

Spent a few days down in Hammond, LA visiting the Phi chapter and boy are they a great bunch! Lots of fun, hard working Taus down in Louisiana!

During my stay the women put me up in a room in the chapter house, which, was super pretty! Loved it 🙂

And I just loved the letters hanging in the stair well:

…and the ones outside…

with my bff Noel!

Looking forward to seeing a good dozen of these women at Convention this summer!

I’m a few days behind, currently being in New York and all but pics from here to come soon.

Sweet Home Alabama

I just love that movie 🙂

Stopped at our only Alabama chapter located in Livingston, AL for a few days.

image

image

image

I stayed in their chapter room, they have a separate guest room attached, very EC friendly and convenient!

image

image

image

image

image

image

image

I also got done pictures at their really nice football stadium, they’re huge on their Tigers here. Told me it was tradition to get a picture with the tiger.. Too bad I was on a walk and had no camera crew, the tiger and I took a MySpace style pic though, no worries 🙂

image

image

image

image

Random Student Union Building picture, I just love around all the flags at the different universities

image

And then there was my fave rental car ever, the Nissan Murano, I wasn’t one!

image

And just some fun pictures from around campus, like the campus chickens and the wild turkey/goose hybrids. They chase golf carts and people around campus, I saw this first hand, they’re crazy!

image

image

Then there was this little guy who followed me around campus while I was walking to meetings, I sure hope his owner found him, hes adorable 🙂

image

And to sum up my stay in Alabama…
“Random Rock”

Chowan’a Visit Murfreesboro?
April 23, 2012, 12:07 am

Tucked away just below the border of Virginia in North Carolina is the well kept secret of Chowan University, home of the Delta Rho chapter of Alpha Sigma Tau. Quaint little campus of around 1,200 students.

During this leg of the trip I was given what some of us at headquarters would refer to as a rollerskate:

image

FIAT!
And thanks to this experience I know I will never, ever own a Fiat.

image

The Botanical Gardens, view from Norfolk Airport on my way to baggage claim.

image

Such a pretty state!

image

image

image

The executive committee and myself after Camp Tau

image

The chapter made me a North CAREolina basket complete with seashells, sweet tea, mini John Deer tractor, and bug spray!

image

…but in all reality, their note was pretty much the nicest and by far my favorite present in the basket 🙂

image

Had to also take a picture with my roomies for the weekend, they were the nicest hostesses!

image

Tori and Tara! Tara is actually from Illinois too, small world!
