Humid, hot, and awesome.

The ladies on Saint Leo’s campus are doing great things! The first night I was here I got to see a large chunk of the chapter’s membership accept awards for their service to the campus at the Campus Activities Awards Ceremony:

Incoming and outgoing Student Body Presidents and a proud EC! (and former/current SGA junkie 🙂 ) and a very pretty courtyard reception below:

While on campus I stayed at the Holy Name Monastery with the nuns, definitely a different and neat experience!

The campus is also really beautiful! Very tropical-esque; it is Florida after all.

Above is an SAE mural painted on the stage by the campus lake in memory of a brother.

The chapter had an alumnae BBQ event at the lake on the last day I was in town. They made ‘foil meals’ which consisted of chicken, salsa, corn and black beans cooked over the BBQ. They were phenomenal!

Had a great time and met some awesome women. Excited to see what Miami has in store next! Bring it 🙂

peace&love

Conway, AR is a good time! Probably the chapter/town that reminds me most of the ole alma mater so far. 12k campus, larger chapter, and some chatty members.

The first night after business meeting the members took me to a philanthropy event hosted by Alpha Sigma Alpha on campus called “New Member King” I want very badly to bring this back to Beta Pi, so fun!

Colton, the AST candidate, in his personality round, he was very entertaining!

… I forget. lol

A poetic reading of “I Want It That Way” by the epic BSB

The sororities also participate in a dance completion and the lovely Alpha Taus took first!!

Other pictures after the event from my visit:

Breakfast at the Hilton, so classy 🙂

Found the local red velvet of course 🙂

A local Alpha Tau alumna opened  up a store, “Uniquely Greek” and made a priority order for me while I was in town. Hellllooo Vera Bradley shirt!

One of the advisors told me about their annual “Toad Suck Festival” and showed me the Kris Allen, American Idol winner, stage in town square:

Meetings, architecture, sisters, Lebanon Valley!

image

Does this church remind anyone else of the one in Pretty Little Liars where Hannah’s dad [tries to] get married? Can’t find it anywhere online. #obsessed

image

Library where all my meetings were held, right next to my fave little coffee shop hang out that I frequented.. Recent new addiction

image

Their campus had lots of flags, not sure why but here are some, enjoy?

image

Ancient looking song book they found recently, absolutely love finding these antique-esque things! Also see the etiquette book below! 🙂

image

image

CREEPY STATUE. Siren-looking statute located directly between the library and my coffee shop. Funny but creepy past dusk, watch yo back!

image

The “UG” aka The Underground. Had lunch here today but apparently on the weekends it turns in to a ‘club’ complete with dance floor, only regret was that I couldn’t see it myself!

image

Seeesterrrrsss

Also met a bunch of their Tau Kappa Epsilon friends, seemed like a bunch of fun.

Their chapter’s sweetheart actually asked if he could meet with me to discuss his duties because one of the girls made a joke he wasn’t doing his job properly, too hilarious!

All in all, a great visit 🙂
