30 Minutes North of the Border

“The Mexican food gets better the further South [in Texas] you go.” Ain’t that the truth! I had some delicious eats and enjoyed life in Texas literally 30 minutes North of Mexico. Pretty neat!

They decorated the whole apartment with fantASTic little notes!

Tried my first Whataburger… SO yummy! Also Taki’s, a Chile-peppery hot Dorito-like rolled up snack. The little candies are from across the border; Pili, their President actually lives over the border and commutes to school. How crazy? Pretty cool though 🙂 The last picture is at the Raspas stand, snow cone like treats.

Rio Grande Outlet Mall in Mercedes, TX  it was huge!

Diana, their advisor, and I went to this delicious Mexican restaurant called Poncho’s on my last night, more yummy!
