Above is the student center, and the large red building is their campus’ Old Main building.

Below are some things around the student center:

Football field where ultimate frisbee is common since the football team no longer exists on campus

In between meetings I liked to walk and enjoy the weather and given the smallness of campus, I’d run in to all of the 3 NIC fraternal organizations affiliated with campus:

Sigma Pi, Phi Kappa Tau, and Delta Chi

Silver Sally, my old faithful rental on the East Coast! Also below was my very cozy guest room on campus:

Now for some more scenic photos. The ladies took me on a hike up “Tech Trail” which is the campus trail up a 500+ feet tall mountain.

You’ll see the sign is missing the right piece because someone had shot it with a shot gun so were not entirely sure how tall it was but it took an hour and fifteen minutes to scale, probably about 20 minutes of that was breaks.

We discovered someone carved ‘Phi Kappa Tau’ on a trunk that fell over the trail.

Finally to the top!!

This is a far off view of the mountain we climbed to give perspective of how tall it was.

I also got a privvy tour of the Engineering labs one day, some really cool stuff, here’s some of it:

This is a turbine like one used on airplanes (what’s probably keeping me in the air as I write)

I forget the full story with this guy, but if you can see the keyboard and blocks they can control it to play the keys and sort the blocks. Its pretty neat!

Just thought the building was fun looking too 🙂

Senior engineer project

We also got to test drive the karts the senior engineers worked on, video to be up soon!  Nothing too exciting, got to take them for a quick lap though!

Gamma Mu on the last day after the workshop:
